Garden Club
Now offering Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter Sessions! Hilltop students: join us for garden-themed activities, games, and fun in the garden. Kindergarten through 6th grade students who live or go to school on the Hilltop are eligible to sign up. Only 15 students are accepted into each session. Program is free, but registration is required.
Green Teens
Green Teens is a 9-week long, paid summer program for Hilltop teens ages 14-19. Youth who join the Green Teen crew are in for a life-changing summer: they work hard in the garden, gain essential job & life skills, learn all about growing and cooking food, engage in food justice issues, and help run the Garden Market.
Garden Markets
Come pick up free fresh fruits and vegetables, straight from the garden during our peak growing season (May - October). Donations are welcome but never required. All are welcome, no registration required.
Backyard Garden Project
Each year, we install 10 new Family Garden beds every spring, providing Hilltop families with a backyard gardening kit, complete with everything they need to grow a thriving garden. Kit includes the raised bed, soil, plants, and additional gardening supplies. We also offer both virtual and on-site supportive classes & workshops during the growing season.
Applications open in March and installations begin in April.
